Academic Coordinator: Prof.ssa Micaela Frulli
The curriculum aims to provide specialized training for young scholars who wish to refine their research skills in the various fields of public and private international law and European Union law.
The training places emphasis both on research methodology in this field and on in-depth study of traditional topics and fundamental concepts (sources of law, including secondary legislation, traditional and emerging subjects, the law of treaties and responsibility, and relations between legal systems), as well as on the analysis of specific issues of particular relevance to current academic debate.
Particular attention is devoted to topics concerning the protection of fundamental rights (also in light of the changes brought about in society by new technologies), the use of force in international relations, the protection of the environment and cultural heritage, corporate social responsibility, violence against women, and gender equality.
