Enterprise, Labour, Procedure and Autonomy in Conflict Management

Academic Coordinator: Prof. Niccolò Abriani

The curriculum “Enterprise, Labour, Procedure and Autonomy in Conflict Management” is addressed to those who, starting from an authentically interdisciplinary perspective—spanning commercial lawlabour law, and procedural law—aim to explore in depth the themes of protection (in a broad sense) of all the positions involved, in various capacities, in business activity, within the delicate balance between what is entrusted to the autonomy of the parties and the scope for judicial intervention.

It proposes a research method that presupposes constant attention to the systemic framework in which the three disciplines are embedded, while at the same time differentiating the analysis of the specific features of each field, through the examination of the particular lines of inquiry that have developed within each of them in recent years.

Depending on their choice among the three disciplines, PhD candidates may acquire a specialization in their chosen field of research, while at the same time reflecting on the value of a broad perspective on issues that present common features across the three disciplines, including with regard to the relationship between substantive law and procedureand, more generally, to the methods of managing conflicts.
